Today is W

Well to day is my 48th birthday !!!
so not knowing what I'm going to write
Here we go ....

WRINKLED

When I was born
I was pink and wrinkled
wiggling into my parents hearts

When I grew into my teens
I wrinkled my nose, thinking
it would attract a certain boy

when I was in my twenties
I spent hours in a hot bath
until I came out wrinkled

When I was in my thirties
I couldn't stand it at all
if my clothes were wrinkled

Now here I am in my forties
and every time I look
I'm getting more wrinkled

Wonder what the next forty years will bring !!

YOUR TURN

  1. I used to think like that but why worry what you have no control over, It's the YOU INSIDE that people see.Loved the poem.
