Wild thing... You make my heart sing

Spring pops up everywhere here in the mountains. The wild flowers are a colorful array of yellows, purples, reds and whites. Just a few weeks into May and the scene outside of our yard has changed from drab to color filled.  ENJOY !!

And of course there are still tons of new flowers in our yard that are just exploding with joy that spring has come...

And to my enjoyment a few fun photos...

And a new critter too...Tee hee hee

In the garden, 'color me blue... or am I purple ?'

Another rainy day here in Campo, which means two things... soon we wont have service AGAIN, because our towers all are sun powered ... and the photo's for today are not coming out the color that they actually are. Bare with us on this one, you see when there is cloud cover our purple flowers on film (camera) take on their blue hues,  and don't look anything like they look in real life... so am I blue or purple today?? well a little of both actually... In the garden, 'color me orange'

It's garden time once again,
so come with us friends
today is 'color me orange'
Red hot pokers and pansy
are as flashy as can be,
but nothing rhymes with orange !

Coriopus and Aloe
all wave hello
as we walk in their garden so fair

Tulip and Tangerine
cause quite a scene
and their fragrance fills up the air

Birds of paradise too
watsonia in view
forgot some names, (beg your pardon)

snapdragons and poppies
and even honey bees
all are welcome in our garden

So now we thank you
for walking here too
with 'color me orange' In the garden
