OURS ARE... YARD SALES, CITY STREETS, FLOWERS, TRAFFIC, MAP, BREAKFAST, NEWS PAPER, MOUNTAINS, ALPINE, EL CAJON...

While leaving the mountains

is not my cup of tea

I wanted to go to play

just my Momma and me

So we bought a news paper 

and looked in the map

to see all the places

the yard sales were at

We first went to Alpine

its close to our home

then in to El Cajon

we decided to roam

Breakfast at Denny's

is our special treat

then fighting the traffic

on the hot city streets

We had a great time

and spent a few hours

But I was glad to get back

to my cool garden of flowers

OURS IS...

VALENTINE RASCLE

A childless mother is what I am

for my body has long since been barren

but mother to her, pet lovers understand,

so I snap shots of her with my Cannon

One of my favorite things to do

is to get her in a pose

though most times I have no luck

she usually turns up her nose...

But this time I was luckier

than most times I had tried

I used a flower to pull her out

of the place she likes to hide

So as her attention was drawn in

her image I did capture

now it is my wallpaper

I really love her stature

Love my baby girl !!

We are trying our hand at a Monotetra

The monotetra contains four lines in monorhyme. Each line is in tetrameter (four metrical feet) for a total of eight syllables.The last line contains two metrical feet, repeated. It can have one stanza or many stanzas. Poem format:

Line 1:	8 syllables
Line 2:	8 syllables
Line 3:	8 syllables
Line 4:	8 syllables with repetition

'cause I love you for who you are

so what if you have an old car

 LUXURY

Living in luxury

in my trailer park home

it may not seem luxurious

but for me its next to none

My rent is within my means

which these days that's hard to find

and I have a garden that many say

is really one of a kind

so in my mind its a luxury

to have the life I've got

and for this hard core country girl

it really means a lot !!

Rain was coming in torrids
and there was no end in sight
we had hoped it would subside
but it worsened overnight

Yet all is well within my world
for in my house I'm safe and dry
and my husband just said to me
I'm the apple of his eye !!
